Carrots, Parsnips, & Beetroot: Direct sow hardy varieties if soil isn't frozen.

Broad Beans & Peas:**Sow under fleece or a cloche. 

FEBRUARY:

Outside under fleece / cloche Broad beans, parsnips, early carrots, lettuce and spinach. Radish, salad onions and summer cabbages.

MARCH:

Sow directly outdoors , Carrots, Beetroot, Spinach, Lettuce, Parsnips and Broad bean, Turnips, Onion sets, Early Potatoes, Swiss Chard and Chicory  March Tip ,warm soil with fleece before sowing and protect young seedlings from frost,
